why the music? as angels were present during the creation of the earth and of man, they would have known the oldest species longest; porifera is the most ancient lineage, dating back to 890 to 541 million years ago, in either the cambrian or precambrian times, and they were the first animals to evolve in earth's oceans. it's also sort of a joke — chondrocladia lyra is also known as the lyre sponge, or harp sponge.
